Today, 12 members of 12 Volt Bolt Team 1557, attended the Exploding Bacon Kickoff event located at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. Our team participated in the Mechanical, Electrical, Diving into FMS, FRC Awards, Judge Whispering, Budgeting, and Chairman Award workshops. We had a great time reuniting with some friends from other teams as well as joining together to play a team effort game of Super Smash Brothers! The kickoff announcement of Infinite Recharge, collaborating with a Star Wars theme was out of this world! We are excited to get back to the workshop and develop a plan of attack to recharge First City.
Back at the workshop we inventoried the build kit, identified components of the game that we need to work with and stategised on the game in general. There is so much to this competition than just building the robot! We will be working everyday this next week as we solidify a plan of attack.
